She is a distinguished anatomist with over 15 years of experience teaching human anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in various government medical colleges across Tamil Nadu. She pursued her MBBS and MS (Anatomy) from Madras Medical College, affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
She has made significant contributions to medical education through her research publications in reputed journals and her involvement in authoring anatomy textbooks.
As an academic leader, she has played a pivotal role in organizing various academic and professional development programs, including:

Currently, Dr. V. Raja Priya serves as the Head of the Department of Anatomy at Government Omandurar Medical College. She is also the Coordinator for the Cadaver Skills Lab Committee and an Expert Resource Faculty of the Medical Education Unit at the institution.
